HISTORIC SHIPYARD TOUR Available May 2-3, 2008 (Tours are on Saturday only.) On only one day a year, the historic shipbuilding and yacht-producing businesses of Sturgeon Bay are open for public viewing. Over the years, mine sweepers, 1000-foot freighters, tug boats, and multi-million dollar yachts have been built in these shipyards. Tour three of these awe-inspiring facilities with the two adult tickets this package includes, and also receive a $40 dinner certificate at Donny’s Glidden Lodge Restaurant. After a day in the city, you’ll enjoy your retreat back home at Glidden Lodge Beach Resort—hike the shoreline and watch the waves lap at your feet.

Door County with its 250 miles of shoreline boasts 10 lighthouses, some of which are open and readily accessible for this very special weekend. Other lighthouses may be viewed through boat tours. Upon booking a suite with us, you’ll be entitled to 2 adult tickets for the lighthouse walk plus a 1-day family pass to the Door County Maritime Museum, a most amazing addition to Sturgeon Bay’s waterfront. FESTIVAL OF NATURE 2 night minimum • Available May 22 through May 24, 2008 (Final deadline for Glidden registration is May 8, 2008) Almost 50 nature tours and walks are available to choose from during this fantastic celebration of Door County’s natural wonders…from forests to beaches, from orchids to warblers. Professional naturalists and environmentalists lead these tours. Glidden Lodge Beach Resort will provide 2 one-day adult registrations for this festival…a value of $90, but you must book early with us so you can then make your own reservations with The Ridges for the sessions you desire and also add on any special boat tours or fish boils. LIGHTHOUSE TROLLEY TOUR Available Sunday through Thursday nights from September 4 through October 19, 2008. (Lighthouse trolley tours scheduled Monday through Friday mornings only.) From Cana Island to the Canal Station Lighthouse, you’ll be exploring some of Door County’s most treasured lighthouses.
