Every year Sister Bay in Door County, Wisconsin has their annual Fall Fest which is a great opportunity to enjoy the beautiful fall colors, outdoors, and fun activities in the village of Sister Bay. Typically it is held Friday through Sunday mid October when fall leaf color is often at its peak. This year it is Friday October 14 to Sunday October 16, 2022. The Fall Fest has family friendly activities with kids’ games and kids’ rides as well as a parade and derby race. In addition to family friendly entertainment there is also entertainment geared toward adults such as cocktails, music, and a huge arts and crafts fair with over 100 vendors. The arts and crafts fair takes place on the main thoroughfare on Saturday and Sunday during the day and includes artisan creations and high quality handmade crafts. The lions club has a fish boil every year and there is an annual pancake breakfast on Saturday before the parade. On Sunday there is a Fall Fest Derby that girls and boys ages 7 to 13 can participate in with their homemade gravity powered cars. Pre-registration is required to race down highway 42. Locals and tourists alike are always hoping for nice weather and vibrant autumn colors, but fun will be had no matter what the weather is.
