September at the our Lake Michigan beach means means more amazing programming from Whitefish Dunes State Park’s Carolyn Rock. The park is just a 3.5 mile hike down the beach from Glidden Lodge. Sound enticing? We think so too! Saturday September 6 Mushroom Foray. Discover the variety of mushrooms that grow within the park. Join Charlotte Lukes to explore the major mushrooms groups. Learn how to field identify of mushrooms to their family groups. This program is for the serious and beginning mushroom enthusiast.
