August is here and that means more programming from Whitefish Dunes State Park’s Carolyn Rock. The park is just a 3.5 mile hike down the beach from Glidden Lodge. Sound enticing? We think so too! Saturday August 16 Candlelight Walk. Join the Friends of Whitefish Dunes for a night of outdoor fun. Enjoy a self-guided hike along the shoreline and through the forested dunes. Join Door Peninsula Astronomical Society members to view planets, stars and moons in the night’s sky on the beach.
