Early summer is here and that means more programming from Whitefish Dunes State Park’s Carolyn Rock. The park is just a 3.5 mile hike down the beach from Glidden Lodge. Sound enticing? Winter is Coming to Door County!!

The sun is bright but it is pretty cold here at Glidden.  Inside the unit you’ll be nice and toasty warm curling up next to the fireplace with a good book or enjoying a soak in the hot tub.  In the evening enjoy a dinner next door at Donny’s Restaurant a beautiful waterfront restaurant. Experience nature in Door County with a front row seat of Lake Michigan.  Walk along the shoreline to the nearby Whitefish Dunes State Park and just beyond is historic Cave Point County Park to view the limestone cliffs and caves.
